The SA-47 FET is an identical sounding replica of a vintage Neumann U47 FET microphone. It follows the original circuit and uses and identical transformer and capsule yielding the same low end, frequency response and timbre of an original vintage Neumann U-47 FET.
The UK-made Sowter output transformer ensures this microphone has the same THD as the original never sounding sterile or missing low end as found on other replicas. Each unit is built with vishay and polystyrene capacitors and comes in a nickel-plated body making an extremely reliable workhorse in the studio.
