Probably one of the rarest pedals out there. THESE NEVER COME UP FOR SALE!
Very few examples are known to exist. I have a few sound clips posted on my Instagram account @desmachine if you'd like to hear the pedal. You'll have to look for them though.
Made some time in the early to mid 2000's these first hit the radar when Nels Cline started using them. Alan Yee hasn't responded to his email in a very long time and no longer makes pedals. It's nearly impossible to even find any info about him.
This fuzz pedal is very unique. With one knob it controls volume and gain simultaneously. Although it maxes out in volume at about noon, it continues to add fuzz/gain as you push it past that point until it's completely maxed out. There are several sweet spots inside of this pedal. From 6 o'clock to about 10 it sounds more like a fuzzy overdrive adding a little volume as you slowly push things to the half way mark. From there, the fuzz gets stronger and thicker, sounding more like a vintage Big Muff.
Some overdrives placed before the fuzzy nuts (for example, my stock TS9) will some how magically produce an octave effect. I have no idea how or why this happens.
This is truly the rarest of rare fuzz pedals. Do a google search. See for yourself.
