F-One oil will clean and restore your neck finish no matter the wood type. We use it in the shop and it will clean even the grungiest of necks you may bring us. It restores dry necks and replenishes natural oils to the wood using a complex mixture of the finest ultra refined tree and seed oils to clean, condition & protect your fretboard/fingerboard.

The standard for fretboards for decades has been lemon oil for rosewood, linseed oil for maple. In the last 15 years or so, builders and luthiers have moved away from the lemon oil because it contains d-limonene, which is a strong solvent that is used to remove paint and glue, the thought being that the high acidity levels of lemon oil can dry out the fretboard over time and require more frequent fretboard care. F-One oil is 100% free of any lemon oil extracts, waxes, petroleum distillates, silicone, and water.

Tip: While you're doing your neck, don't forget to also oil the bridge of your acoustic.
