RELISTED 12/11/2017 - Up for bid is a very rare bass made by Modulus Graphite guitars in collaboration with the one and only Michael Tobias of MTD. This bass features a super thick 5A Quilted maple top,  alder body,  a figured maple fingerboard and the famous graphite T-Bar the length of the neck for reinforcement, truss rod, and alder neck wood. Features hipshot bridge and Gotoh tuning machines. Everything is original. The electronics are all Bartolini both pickups and preamp. The preamp features vol, blend, treble, mid and bass. It has 35" scale length and 22 frets. The playability and tone of this bass are exceptional and you can get whatever jazz tone you need plus a killer slap and fingerstyle tone that cuts through the mix without being harsh or unnatural sounding. Even has growl on the B-string! All the strings have a piano clarity, even playing the open Remarkable tone. A superb bass in every way! Excellent playing and cosmetic condition and includes the original Modulus hard shell case. No discernable fret wear and low action; truss rod works perfectly. Includes all wrenches and original owners manual. A superior pro level bass in every aspect. They do not make these any longer so this is a classic in excellent condition! I am only selling this bass because some moron stole my son's car! You'll be getting a killer bass!
