Golden Age Pickup Kit for Strat, With Alnico 5 Magnets

Build your own guitar pickups from the ground up: go for the vintage sound or wind it your own way for custom tone!

Alnico 5 magnets produce a brighter tone with a tighter low end and stinging highs. They're great for neck position pickups, to help keep the tone clear without getting muddy.

Pickup Kit for Strat includes the basics for a pickup that's straight from the '50s:

Black fiber bobbin flatwork (with brass eyelets already installed)

Six (6) Alnico 5 vintage specification staggered-height polepieces, ready to magnetize

Black and white push-back wire

Two (2) mounting screws with compressible tubing for height adjustment

Instructions

Spacing Specs:

Polepiece spacing is 2.0625" (52.39mm)

Pole to pole spacing (measured on centers) is 0.4125" (10.48mm)

Also available with Alnico 2 magnets for a warmer tone and low end response with smooth, singing highs.

The assembled pickup fits a standard Strat® pickup cover and pickguard.
