How do you set a classic scene for a modern audience? With a time-honored look that brings the clean, pure sound of now. The Super 55 brings the highest degree of vocal quality to the stage in a vintage, stand-mounted microphone.

With inner workings that mirror our premium vocal mic — the high-output BETA 58A — the Super 55 pushes the voice as far as the stagecraft. Croon smoother. Add more depth to your drama. However you use the tailored-for-natural-voice response, you’ll have the sound to match the showmanship.

A standout on any stage

The supercardioid directional pattern captures the exact sound you want, regardless of acoustic environment. So it’s perfect for live performance in a variety of venues.

Made to move

The shock-mounted cartridge minimises stand noise. So swing while you sing. It can handle the motion.

Stage proof

Microphones get dropped, tossed and knocked around. We know. We’ve been making them for nearly a century. It’s why we built the Super 55 with a rugged die-cast casing, so it’s always ready for the next show.
