The C-Switch puts different capacitors in parallel to the pickup, which lowers the resonance frequency.
In the rightmost position, the “C-Switch” © is switched to direct pass-through, here you have the unaffected original sound. The further you turn the knob to the left (as with the tone potentiometer), the more the sharp highs go away and more mids come in.
The clay becomes fuller and warmer.
But there is still color left for him.
Even in the far left switch position, it is by no means as dull as when the tone potentiometer is turned off.
Each switched capacitor setting can be individually regulated with the tone screen.
