First thing to know about this guitar is that it sounds otherworldly. It really does rattle the rafters. All of the hype about Banner headstock Gibsons is true.
The second thing to know about this guitar is that it has spent some time on the operating table. Apparently, there was some major damage done to the side that necessitated removing the back. Some of the side braces have been replaced and a few have been added for extra stability. The sides have been expertly reconstructed with no missing pieces and no replaced wood. The bridge has been replaced with a nifty two saddle system for better intonation. The top has been refinished in Black. Replaced tuners. The neck block have been cracked and repaired and unfortunately the serial number or other identification numbers has been sanded off in the process. The neck has been reset and is at a very good angle with nice action. Having said all that, I should stress that the repairs on this guitar have been expertly done. Everything is tight and tidy and the guitar is ready for another hundred years. Please call or message us if you have specific questions about the details of the repairs. Original hard shell case is included.
