The Dying Battery Simulator allows you to drop the voltage coming from your power supply, before going into your analog effect- and manipulate the original sound of your pedal. Ideal for analog fuzz, overdrive or distortion pedals, this simulates what your pedal would sound like with a battery losing power, but from a consistent power source. When you begin reducing or "starving" your analog pedal's voltage, the sound of your pedal will begin to change. First, the highs will begin to become less harsh, and softer. Dialing back further will begin to give a more "spongy" sound from the effect. As you continue dialing back, the effect will go into more pulsating and experimental type sounds- all by dropping the input voltage.Whether rock, alternative, blues or experimental- guitarists love this effect.
The DBS should not be used with a daisy chain or supply powering multiple pedals, you need a single power supply connected to it.
I include the cable to connect this pedal's power output to your pedals' power input.
