Like the original, controls for Pitch, Tune, Tune Depth, Attack, Decay, and Drive define the character of your kicks, with voltage control available for Pitch, Decay, and Drive. Where the new version expands on the original is the Mode switch, toggling between Trigger and Gate modes. In Gate mode, the module will sustain for the duration of a high-Gate signal, perfect for tuned sub-bass lines and dynamic pattern creation. For further variation, patch into the Accent input for even more punch. If your modular rig depends on killer kicks for the club, you can't go wrong with the Bass Drum 2.
