Kay Jumbo 1960 Sunburst X-braced

Here’s a very cool, unique guitar. I pulled the back off and x braced it a couple years ago with some spruce pieces I had laying around - scalloped forward style.
It’s night and day from the original ladder bracing, it has a huge, articulate, premium sound now. 
I have some photos of the bracing somewhere and I’ll upload them when I find them later.
The binding reattached a little proud and short of course because it relaxed shrunk, I didn’t adjust it so it shows some flaking as well on the finish. The bridge has a small gap that hasn’t moved, I planed the old style Brazilian wrap around top loader to a pin style, drop in saddle on top of a new maple plate. The saddle is tall with great action. The sunburst looks really great on the 17” maple body and spruce top, 45 style block inlays on the Brazilian board. I believe the original nut is 1 3/4”

The Kay logo on the head was missing when I got it, they can be sourced if desired, original Kluson deluxe tuners work well. There are no cracks or repairs other than noted. See my other listings.
