Solid and thick Mahogany body with carved Tiger Stripe Flame Maple Top.

Beautiful layered body binding

3 piece maple neck with smooth heel joint.

Bound Ebony fingerboard with Abalone/MOP block inlays with Super Edition designation inlay.

Arguably the most versatile version of this infamous guitar model.
Super '58 Alnico, 3 mount point pickups with the factory updated Tri-Sound switching. This newer rendition of the Ibanez Tri-Sound system gives you traditional series humbucking, coil tap or parallel humbucking. The latter replaced the reversed phase option which was much less useable in most situations IMHO.
Getting some serious Strat type quack and funk is effortless on this normally fat LP challenging beast.
Still, all the fatness and sustain you could want is still there for the taking.
Effortless playability is the signature of these guitars and their quality control and consistency is second to none.

Original brown tolex shaped hard case in great condition is included.
