Handmade Maurizio Uber (MUB) Miezo 5 string headless bass, in mint condition. Per his website: , Miezo means 'half'. That is, two full octaves in half the scale length, starting from the 12th fret of a long scale bass, and tuned accordingly. Be it your travel instrument or one more creative tool in your arsenal, it fits inside its hand-carry sized, custom gig bag (included). Body size, contours, contact points balance all feel like your full scale bass.
This bass has a custom Burl Walnut top, Ash back and Pao Ferro Fingerboard. Passive Bartolini soap-bar pickup offers a deep resonant sound. Controls are volume and tone. Plug it through an octave pedal and you can have it sound just like a full size bass! It is blast to play!!!
I had intended to use this bass while traveling for work but COVID unfortunately ended that project, so I am thinning the herd. This instrument is 22 inches long and just under 12 inches wide and just under 1.5 inches deep. With this configuration, new this is a $850 bass and i am offering it at a substantial discount (as this bass is "as new").
