Fender Mustang Bass (1966)

For sale is a lovely vintage 1966 Fender Mustang Bass in Daphne Blue.
Comes with original case and white leather strap that was in the case at time of purchase.
This is a vintage bass, and as shown in the pictures, it is in the condition you would expect a vintage bass to be in. Electronically it is fully functional. Cosmetically, the finish has dings, small chips, scratches, pick scratches, fading - on both body and neck. Under the bridge, at some point there were vinyl letter stickers there (a previous owner was named Joe, it seems), but the marks are very faint. There is finish checking as well. Note the sweet flame maple neck! The frets have a surprising amount of life in them for its age. The truss rod is tight, but functional. The pickguard is warped slightly, but not cracked.
Two tuners were replaced due to very tight movement - I was able to purchase vintage 1968 Mustang lollipop tuners off of Reverb - all tuning keys will come with the bass (7 total - there are no extra mounting screws).

This is a local pickup only sale. I am not interested in shipping this bass at this time. However, I would consider meeting for delivery, within a reasonable distance (Lincoln/Omaha area)
