Extremely Rare Vintage 1951 Gibson Super 300. Built in very very low numbers. With only 200 in total made throughout the few years this model was offered.

The Super 300 is very similar to its much better known older brother, the Super 400. The key difference is the modesty of the 300′s decoration – at least compared to the Super 400. Super 300′s are all non-cutaway guitars, as were Super 400′s; in 1948 Gibson introduced the Super 400C or Premiere, the same guitar with a florentine (rounded)cutaway.

These are giant guitars, with 18 inch wide bodies, and they use that size to move a lot of air. This guitar has been played in, and it not only sounds great with a full resonant tone, it is loud. You can’t miss it, no matter what direction you’re looking.

Very good condition for being 65 years old! Fully gone over by master luthier who gave the condition a 7.5 out of 10. Comes with non original case, which doesn't fit the greatest. I've factored this into the asking price.

Asking $3500 obo. Truly an investment grade instrument that is sure to only increase in value!
