Gold Tone PBB Paul Beard Resonator Bass LEFTY!

Gold Tone PBB Paul Beard Bass - the great sounding one with the mini pickup by the neck - some are resonator only. Plugs in & gets a big sound that's different from the more typical solid body basses. 32" scale. This one is a LEFTY! Previously owned by a klutz, it appears - because really the only wear and tear on this instrument at all is a pretty ugly headstock break repair - neither of which I had anything to do with. It literally looks like it was taken out of the case, played once, and dropped on its head. Poor wee thumpy! It's held fine for some time, is stable, and plays good. So you can get in CHEAP - these go new discounted at over $900. Where it's made? Probably all over the place, I have no idea, but they're "assembled" in the USA. So I just checked off Uruguay for the hell of it. Probably not made in Uruguay, what with their rich tradition of resonator bass guitar luthiery and all (ahem). My guess is part China, Korea & USA. Regardless, these are hard to find used and a bit on the pricey side. I've looked it over and all seems solid, not the tightest neck gap I've seen but I'm a luthier and my standards might be a wee bit different. Holds tune, decent action, interesting unplugged tone, great plugged in tone, mint except for the headstock.
