1971 Gibson Medallion Flying V Limited Edition#338. Well we don't run into these too often, but when we do we're happy to find them in this condition, which I consider to be very good plus to excellent for a 50 year old guitar. This one is completely original but for newer tuner grommets and strap buttons. It had straplocks and Grover tuners when it arrived but the original Klusons were still in the case sans the grommets. The pickup covers had been removed and re-installed at some point. Both pickups are original patent sticker humbuckers that measure in the 7.7/ 7.8K range and they sound fantastic along with the rest of the original electronics. The frets are original and somewhat worn but have plenty of life left in them as this V plays incredibly well. There are NO BREAKS OR CRACKS anywhere and no modifications other than previously mentioned and those have been attended to properly. The original case must have been destroyed as it is housed in a mid 1970's Gibson V case. The original case badge is still with the guitar. 7.35 lbs
