1990 Gibson Custom Shop Original Firebird V Renault Blue One-Off w/ OHSC Rare 1st Reissue

1990 Gibson Custom Shop Firebird V w/ OHSC, finished in Renault Blue.  This is a Custom Shop Original made in the first year of reissue for the Firebird and is extremely rare.  Only a handful of Custom Shop Originals were made in various colors, and it is my understanding after speaking with Gibson, they only made one of each.  Not to be confused with the "Custom Shop Edition" decal seen on regular production Custom Shop guitars, the "Custom Shop Original" decal seen here is particular to these specific instruments

As you may know, the 90's Firebirds are considered the best editions with incredible attention to detail in construction, fit, and feel.  Excellent neck profile with a 1 11/16th" nut and a slim feel with nice shoulders.  Definitely not a big boat neck that you find on a lot of 'birds and it doesn't have that wide reverse taper the higher up you go.  It's extremely fast and plays fantastic with low action, along with being lightweight and well-balanced.  100% original and includes the original case (the lock clasp has tape over it to keep from being locked out).  This thing is pretty righteous.

I've highlighted any cosmetic flaws.  It does have a few bumps and bruises, but is in pretty remarkable shape considering it's 27 years old and blue, which usually greens out.  There are no repairs or cracks anywhere, but there is some lacquer checking and worming in the back of the body.  Very little greening happening here and only noticeable in the lacquer on the serial number and around the tuners.
