This is from a 20 year old very limited run sold only to and through Guitar Center with a special serial number attributed to this limited run.
It is a 2006 GIBSON 1960 Plaintop Les Paul G0. It is NOS , mint and as new. It is #42 in the limited run. It has been stored since original purchase. These are hard to find,...but New Old Stock is extremely rare. And it has the typical 1960 thinline comfortable neck, 1 5/8 inch across the finger board at the nut and 3/4 inch depth at the first fret.The width at the first fret is 1 3/4" and the width at the 12th octave fret is 2 1/8"
and the 12th fret depth is about 7/8".
The measurements include the binding. It is a 60s neck, so slimmer and not like a baseball bat.
It looks like a brand new 1960 Les Paul Standard.
It really is beautiful and actually looks more like an original Les Paul than the highly figured models, which are everywhere. I just got several questions on weight so,... Weight is under 8 Lbs. and about 7.7 - 7.8. It's light. and not with weight relief cut outs,....it's whole!
The case is also dead mint and from the Gibson Custom Shop. It is locally listed for sale in New York. Thanks for looking!
