The AAD100 Advanced Acoustic Dreadnought is designed from the ground up to deliver rich, bright acoustic tone with a wide dynamic range. The AAD100 features a nyatoh neck with a low oval grip for superior playability, an ovangkol fingerboard and an okoume body that generates a warm, woody tone ideal for fingerpicking. A lightweight, scalloped bridge improves vibration efficiency for enhanced resonance while the carefully designed scalloped X-M bracing provides high response and a crispy treble. The Ibanez AAD100 is slightly larger than a traditional Dreadnought and is considered a Grand Dreadnought, constructed to achieve a superb, powerful sound without sacrificing comfort.
