Yamaha SC 5000 Natural

Buddhaful Guitars presents a Yamaha SC 5000.  These MIJ Guitars are rarely seen in the USA.  Great find for a collector and the single coil pickups have something to offer in all 5 pickup combinations.  Conservatively listed as good condition, although I consider   to be very good considering the age of the guitar.

From the second series of Yamaha's SC Super Combinator guitar.  Often described as a strat/les paul hybrid...might as well ad SG/Jaguar to that as well.

Serial number would indicate this to be made in 1982 which fits with when these were being made.  Believed to only be available to the Japanese market from roughly 1980 to 1983. 

Set neck, 25.5" scale, with gold hardware. Three single coils, with a wiring feature where a push of the tone knob enables/disables the option which reduces the windings used by a third.

 Comes with original Yamaha etched faux leather gig bag.  Does NOT come with a tremolo bar.
