This is a 3x14 Custom "Pancake" Piccolo Snare in signature "Blueberry Pancake Blue" or Piccolo style snare custom made by Martial Percussion. Ships securely with care. This drum can get your regular piccolo snare sounds magnificiently, and can also acheive the disengaged snare lock with wires still tight enough to get a fat natural reverb sound which sounds nearly studip processed with the resonant head loose, the batter just passed finger tight, and the unlocked coil tightened just enough for the wires to loosely engage. For a studio situation this is irreplaceable to double track with another snare, or simply use as your main snare and get natural revern without a lick of digital processing.

I.E. for any followers of this drum I have increased the price as when I purchased this drum its sound was so good it was going to be my forever snare. Then there was an incident where a soda was dropped and the splash of the liquid somehow got on the coils while they were touchint the head...I cleaned it immediately but ended up changing out the snare wire and resonant head..after that it never seemed to get back to the sound of when I puchhased it..and as I am not a drummer, my set is for producing, I didnt know much about tuning snares, and knew less about tuning piccolo snares. After restoring the snare to its proper tuning it is again sounding just like it did when purchased, so I have returned it to its original price I paid for it, being that this listing has been up for multiple years I feel this is justifiable, as it also is now my main snare for the studio again. I apologize for the change in price if you were recently looking to purchase, but this is a fabulous custom made drum that I was offering at a massive discount to its true value.
