DESCRIPTION - This listing is for a GALAXY AUDIO Cricket Polarity Test Set w/ Carry Case owned by producer Jerry Finn. 

Ed Cherney and Erik Nobler taught me the importance of absolute phase. We check every mic all the way through the tape machine to make sure the speakers are pushing when they should be. Ha ‰ÛÒ the Tech‰Ûªs nightmare.  Not so secret but definitely a weapon.  A must for multiple mic set ups.  We used this not only to line check our signal path, but to check for correct polarity throughout the signal path.  We found some very ‰ÛÏinteresting‰Û wiring anomalies through the years and had some very lively discussions with Techs about pin 2 hot vs pin 3 hot wiring. -Joe McGrath
