Conn F-Mezzo Soprano Saxophone ORIGINAL SILVER PLATE

This is an EXTRAORDINARY Conn F Mezzo-Soprano saxophone. Most people are aware of the history of these instruments-Conn designed them for orchestral work, but that never materialized. Most of the leftover stock was used for repair practice-deliberately dented and mashed. This one, however, is nearly perfect. Original silver plate (satin silver with bright highlights) is 99% present with some small blemishes tothe finish on the rear upper body (see pics). This horn has just had a repad by CARLO SBISA and plays great with the sweet, full sound that these are known for. A badly damaged Conn F-mezzo mouthpiece is included but it is likely useless.
