PJ-14N Archtop Acoustic-Electric Guitar in a Natural Finish! That's what the "N" stands for.

This guitar keeps getting rarer and rarer.

In typical Parker form, the PJ-14N breaks tradition in both design and construction. The top is a solid piece of carved spruce adorned with a curvy, bound soundhole; the back is a carved piece of solid maple that matches maple sides. The five-ply rock maple and rosewood neck gets capped with an ebony fingerboard that extends to a mother-of-pearl inlaid headstock framed by gold Grover tuners that play off the body's Art Deco-ish shape.

There's more inlay down at the tailpiece, an asymmetrical slab of dark abalone that looks and feels rock-solid sturdy. Although Ken Parker had no hand in this arch-top design, the hollow body still resonates with Parker's influence everywhere.

The PJ14 was made by Parker Guitar, the company that made the Parker Fly and Parker Nitefly. It was born circa 2008 and is part of the Jazz Series. 2008 Catalog => bit.ly/parker-2008-catalog

If you are looking for a handmade Ken Parker archtop, you can order one directly from the man himself. Fair warning, it may take upwards of a year and cost over $30k+. If sold, the PJ14 will be shipped out tomorrow.

Two upgrades were added. The first is an official Bigsby tremolo, and the second is a Bartolini J5 Johnny Smith pickup. The purchase includes the original floating mini-humbucker made by Egnater.

The original hard case does not fit because of the new tremolo; therefore, it will ship in a hardshell case —just not the original case with the Parker logo.

The sound is incredible, and the action is nice and low. When you play this guitar, you will feel your body resonate alongside this beautiful piece of art.
