Jule Amps Paycheck 15 Tube Head

Very versatile 15 watt tube head for the studio or stage! Good amount of useable volume here for a 15 watt amp. Pristine cleans courtesy of a pair of 6SL7 tubes in the preamp, which Jule(and others) claim has more musicality than a 12ax7. To me they sound more well rounded on the top end, and exude some kind of 'space' to the sound. Amplification factor of 70 as opposed to 100 from the 12ax7. Closer in tone to a 12at7 in my opinion. The phase inverter and EQ driver positions are driven by a 12AT7 and a 12ax7, respectively.

Three band EQ, simple master volume, and presence knob control the tone-shaping of the amp. Overdrive section controlled on front panel with a switch or with a foot-switch(not included). Goes from simple grit to really hairy. Effects loop with simple level controls. 5Y3 rectifier tube.
