Hand wired 5E3 clone combo amp. There is really nothing quite like a 5E3! That classic tone! This is a hand-built, hand-wired, 5E3 using parts from Tube Depot. This 5E3 clone has a clean tone. The volume controls are logarithmic, which I think give better control of the volume and gain at low volume and at high volume. The chassis is hand-built of stainless steel. The chassis was carefully de-burred to reduce noise.
The cabinet is hand-built of solid finger-jointed 3/4” thick baltic birch. The circuit is properly grounded and has a polarized a/c plug.
Comes equipped with a 12-inch Jensen MOD series speaker (made in Italy). Great for blues/jazz/funk/country AND is the quintessential rock amp. There are two speaker connections that allow for 4 or 8-ohm output to the built-in speaker or an external speaker.
15 Watts - and it sounds way louder than that!
I added a YouTube video of this amp. I am no guitarist, but you can hear the clean tone at low volume.
