Up for sale is a stunning Quilted Maple topped LTD EC-200 model LP styled guitar.
Thin-line feel, complete with body contour sculpted edges and reliefs. This thing was Designed to play. The obvious thought that went into the construction of this rock machine SHOWS after just a few seconds of playing. Beautiful rosewood fretboard with Abalone dot inlays. Hard-tail, low-profile string design, along with double-pickup, two-volume, one-tone knob specs mean straight-up, badass guitar.
Set up and intonated with fresh 9 gauge D'addario XLs, she is a delight to jam on. ESP black covered hum-bucking Pups are milky and smooth and biting just right, as you would expect. Nice clean tones and sharp cutting distorted grunginess are at your fingertips.
The "see thru Black" titled color seems a bit weak/vague, as the rich greys/grays in the feathering patterns of the quilted maple really Pop Out marvelously, depending on where the light hits it. Apparently this must be Seen in person, as the photos truly do it NO justice. The finish DOES show some signs of wear (these were very hard to photograph) and are as follows:
- Chip @ head stock right tip where wood is exposed. - This CAN be painted and repaired.
- Light scratches (approx 7) in finish, cut diagonally on the back of neck around frets 3-4. This is on the "bottom" or "treble" side of the back of the neck and are NOT felt to the bare touch which playing, as they are in the cupped palm of the hand in that area - i.e, does Not affect play. Only when trying to purposely feel for these light scratches can you even tell they are there.
- Small chip on back of rear body, right next to Output jack plate.
- Small scuff @ corner bottom horn.
- Lacquer surface finish check at neck joint to body, on treble side of neck. Not into wood or joint. None of these surface blemishes in paint or lacquer detract from the play-ability of the instrument in ANY way. Instead, they've proven the durability of an axe well-loved and add that ever-sought after "character".
Will be packaged in a maroon and black "Road Runner" branded gig-bag. Pretty good quality bag that has backpack straps, if preferred. Plenty of pocket space up front, too.
Feel free to make a reasonable offer. Luckily all super lowballers are immediately refused by Reverb's algorithms. So YOU can bid with confidence! And thanks for checking us out. Take care.
