For sale is a 2019 Gibson Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Slow Iced Tea Fade VOS.
Originally purchased new from Musician's Friend, this guitar has spent its life in a smoke-free, climate-controlled home and has seen very little use. It remains in excellent condition, with minimal signs of handling and frets that show virtually no wear.
The 2019 60th Anniversary R9s are widely regarded as one of Gibson Custom Shop's most impressive Historic reissue runs, incorporating numerous refinements aimed at capturing the look, feel, and character of the original 1959 Les Pauls. The Slow Iced Tea Fade finish offers a beautifully understated vintage appearance and showcases the maple top without being overly flashy.
This guitar weighs 8 lbs 11 oz and includes the original brown Lifton-style hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, and original case candy.
I'm primarily a collector and filmmaker, and this guitar was purchased because I appreciated the craftsmanship and history behind it. It has been carefully maintained and stored, and I'm only selling it to free up resources for other priorities.
