This late '50s ES-125 is mojo packed and a nice and playable piece. Originally a student model, theses guitars are a great way to get into a vintage Gibson with that sweet P-90 without paying an arm and a leg.
This ES-125 features a maple body, mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, a single P-90, adjustable rosewood bridge with trapeze tailpiece, gold knobs, 3 on a strip Kluson tuners, and a black pickguard. Single bound top and back.
This 125 is in good condition for it's age. The neck is dead straight and the frets show some wear but still have plenty of life left and are not buzzing. There is plenty of finish checking all over the body, and finish wear and dings as pictured, as well as a pretty deep scuff on one side that doesn't go through the wood. No cracks! The binding is shrinking a bit on the back edge near the pickguard mount side, though it's completely stable with no looseness. The pickup is working at full output and sounds great. This one is ready to play with no issues!
Includes the original hardshell case.
