Parker Maxx Fly DF824 Set Neck Near Mint! 2012 Tobacco Sunburst

When it comes to guitars, I tend to be a traditionalist and prefer the original designs and guitars which are modeled after the originals. One obvious departure from that tendency, however, is my love for Parker guitars. Parkers just click for me. The are light, super-easy to play, very responsive and offer a wide range of tonal options in a single instrument. And they look cool too!

Offered is this fabulous Tobacco Sunburst Parker MaxxFly DF824 built in 2012. Like their Fly models, this guitar is a premium set neck model, in this case with an Alder body, a Basswood neck with carbon/epoxy reinforcement throughout for incredible resonance and durability. With it's HSS with coil splitting plus piezo pickup layout, your tone options are almost limitless. It is ultra-light (4.8 pounds) and perfectly balanced so you can play it all night long without shoulder fatigue. Like other Parkers, particularly the other set neck models, this guitar is so easy to play it is almost like cheating! The fabulous Ken Parker tremolo system on this guitar is legendary in it's own right.

This beauty is in excellent plus to near mint condition with the only flaws being a few very light string change scratches on the headstock and a couple of scuffs on the bridge, none of which are easily seen. The stainless steel frets flawless. It comes in it's original premium hardshell case with most of the original accessories.

U.S. Music has decided to no longer manufacture Parker instruments, so those that have been made are all there will be. This is certainly an end to an era. When it was available, this guitar sold new for $4K. Get this splendid and lightly loved example at a great price. Not for traditionalists, but highly recommended by Capital Guitars!
