1 brand-new OS version 2.7 ROM upgrade chip for the original Nord Lead 1 synthesizer.
This is the final firmware version upgrade issued by Clavia for this unit.
This ROM upgrade chip is also compatible with the Nord Lead 1 Rack.
The actual Lead 1 is not for sale, only the 2.7 ROM upgrade chip will be supplied.
Noteworthy details about the 2.7 upgrade:
· Based on user experience reports online: Added Arpeggios in both echo and random modes.
· Demo Play Mode – Press shift and sync button.
· Keyboard octave shift in addition to the standard slot octave shift.
· New Percussion Modes.
· New filter – “Notch+LP”
· Now able to format PCMCIA cards.
· Panic Button – Press shift and keyboard track.
· Pedal is now assignable to Filter, FM, and LFO.
· Performances now contain expression pedal and after touch assignment.
