 This model is one of several that we will now be offering, based around the seemingly unbeatable sound of the Western Electric/Altec Lansing 755 speaker  all paper 1 piece dust cap  cone...

If you are after "That sound", that only a 755 can create, we have finally mimicked it in a new speaker model. These are all NEW speakers
 
 Built with high fidelity in mind, these make AWESOME guitar speakers as well...

 If you need clean channel/ amplified acoustic guitar in it's purist form, this is the one to play/record with..

 If you LOVE detailed over drive, you can close your eyes, and in your head you can almost envision the shape of the complex incoming wave forms. these things have "CRUNCH"...More than the Captain ever offered'....

 The 755 cone, has been a leader for DECADES as far as providing a transparent, detailed, fairly wide range sound... Some  units with this cone command a hefty 3 grand!

 The cone  uses a special blend of special pulps, binding agents, kapok, and felts(seems strange right), to get an inherent dampening ability to suppress "ringing" , pulse, hangover, and phantom notes from the cone material ringing..

 The result? a tonality that is compatible to the "Hempopotamus  G5" hemp formulations.

 The performance of these 755PMRs starts and 'stops fast".  

Very fast impulse response, transient capabilities, detail, presence, 'believability', and 3D presentation..

......Even the core of the motor structure has been machined out, to allow a packing of fiber glass to absorb any sound reflected behind the cone/cap area!. Then, a screened back keeps the dirt out....

 NOTE:

 You get a speaker exactly as shown, without any treatments to the surround, but I also offer this unit with several extra features. They would be:

1.) An open weave/acoustically transparent dust cap version with the same cone. 

(((This allows a little more high end response directly out of the core/coil area)))

2.) Surround/suspension "loosening" using the special  Eastman Kodak pulp loosening agents.
((((This lowers the fs and increases low end response)))

3.) ReZon-Ex coating applied to the surround.
(((This is the black, shiny, tacky, never 100% completely dry dampener, and  extends surround life, lowers Fs, increases low end response, dampens any remaining cone resonance issues, and looks cool)))

4.) A CLOTH surround version...
    ((((this would allow higher compliance, higher excursion, increased low end, and match certain vintage versions. ...............Other treatments can be applied as well)))

5.) A NEOPRENE RUBBER half roll ultra high compliance, high dampening surround..
  The advantages are obvious there....

6.)  certain impedances besides 16 ohm will be available, and with optional  high power coils
