Really cool DOD FX52 Classic Fuzz - it has been modded (by the awesome JPF Amplification Ltd Denmark Street) by adding a Germanium diode added to circuit, which has been put on a switch which enables selection between the original Silicon diode, or the modded Germanium diode (adding extra clipping/ squishiness!).
The FX52 Classic Fuzz duplicates the sound of the early 60s distortion boxes, such as the Fuzz Face and the Fuzz Tone. A must for musicians looking for a more nostalgic sound, and a surefire hit for those after the "Satisfaction" tone!
Huge, almost Big Muff like fuzz tones from this modded Classic Fuzz pedal. It sounds fantastic and are built to last a lifetime.
Great throwback look, with some minor cosmetic blemishes (see pictures for details) - in perfect working order!
-Volume: Adjusts the level of distorted signal compared to the level of the dry signal.
-Tone: Modifies the sound of the distorted signal. Turning it to the left boosts the bass, turning it to the right boosts the treble.
-Fuzz: Adjusts the amount of distortion (to either Silicon, or modded Germanium transistor!)
