Spector NS-2JA-R 2008 Natural with bag

Summary: This Spector Bass has a beautiful high gloss figured maple body, dual EMG pickups and a bolt on neck. It is in great used condition, weighs in at 8 lbs 11 oz and comes with its original gig bag. Our in-house guitar tech has just restrung this bass with a fresh set of Dunlop 45-105 strings and set the action low and comfortable.

Body:  Classic Spector concave back with 2 piece maple back, figured maple top and high gloss natural finish.

Neck:  The bolt on maple neck has a nice full C profile, rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, small white dots, 1.625” nut width and 34” scale length. The neck is straight as an arrow but the truss rod is tightened as far as it will go. Some players may want a bit more relief in the neck and they would be able to loosen it with no issues.

Pickups/Hardware:   2 EMG J-Bass style pickups, active electronics, master volume, blend knob, treble and bass knobs, Badass bridge, brass nut and Schaller tuners.

Cosmetics: This bass is in excellent used condition with only one notable light scratch on the upper horn. The bass does not look like it was played very much but does have a couple light scratches on the neck plate and a few very faint scuffs on the bass side of the fretboard if you catch it in the right light.

Playability:  Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of Dunlop 45/105s. The neck is straight and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.  The truss rod has been tightened as far as it will go for a totally straight neck. If you wanted more relief in the neck it would be easy to loosen it for you preference.
