Rare Fender Japan LEFTY Strat Trem Block 1987 Aged Chrome Steel Parts Repair No Threads

*NOTE: Fender Japan tremolo blocks are slightly different specification than American Vintage USA reissue blocks, or 1950s-1970's USA vintage Fender blocks. The two most noticeable differences are that Fender Japan blocks aren't quite as tall as the Fender USA, and the string depth is deeper than Fender USA blocks. All Fender Japan blocks on their JV Strats, Squier MIJ Strats, 50's, 60's, and 70's reissue Strats are all made this way. This rare LEFTY Strat Tremolo block is from 1987 and is being offered as is for parts repair because it needs to have the whammy bar threads redone. It has been stripped out by a previous owner and needs to be re-threaded. A portion of whammy bar may have broken off and may need to be removed. This is a cold rolled steel block of proper mass, and a magnet will stick to it.

All other functions work well and the 3 mounts are included. If you don’t use the whammy bar then it is still going to serve your purposes on your Strat.
