Here is a rare and sought after bass that is becoming crazy expensive over time. I had the opportunity of choosing between five AB II’s from the previous owner who I know but ended up with this one. It has a great resonant quality due to the chambered construction. The sound is fantastic - without doubt the best B string I have ever heard due to the 37+ inch scale. The fanned neck is remarkably easy to adapt to. The wenge fretboard is a joy to play - feels wonderfully organic. Everything is quality on this bass.
There are a few cosmetic issues with the bass as it was owned and used by a professional touring bassist for a few years. That said it has true character and works perfectly.
I no longer play 5’s and so it is pointless just having such a bass & not using it.
It will be supplied in a good quality, good condition padded Access bass case. The serial number of the bass is 3857.
This bass is one of only 12 made in a special production run which makes it very rare!
