The guitar has a few surface finish cracks on the top glossy finish that are clearly shown with light shown on the guitar with reflection, they are hard to see just by looking at it but with light reflection they can be seen , no cracks going in the wood only in the finish , new strings , great action , great electronics, great hard case , really nice guitar worth putting a little investment in treating those finishes .

This model is on the rarer side of models and sounds amazing , no cracks on the hard case .

Guitar without the cracks in the glossy finish is worth over 2 grands .

The Ovation Country Artist 1674 is a nylon string guitar for a feel of a steel string guitar for those finger pickers. 

It has a traditional flat classical fingerboard, but the nut width is a slim 1-7/8 inch compared to the typical 2 inch width of a classical. 

The neck joins the body at the 14th fret, same as Ovation steel sting guitars.

As part of the Artist series, this guitar features the slightly shallower Artist depth bowl. 

The tuners are chrome plated Schaller Classicals. 

The model shown is the acoustic- electric 1674 cutaway version, which has the great Ovation FET preamp with a concentric volume/tone control knobs on the waist bout.
