G&L L-2500 USA 2014 Blue Burst

Updated listing as of 1-15-21. Now includes original G&L hard shell case. Originally listed with a case that had some damage and slightly cracked shell in 2 areas. That case was used to sell my M-2500 because I mixed up the cases and it would only fit in that one. My error is your gain because this case is in better shape. The straps are the only thing damaged on this case.

I am selling my near mint G&L L-2500 USA with string through body option that has the premium blue burst finish with a beautiful body edge finish strip. This bass is incredible in every way from the tonal options, fit and finish, to its playability. Mine has the thinner neck profile that is akin to a jazz neck so the neck is not ultra thick like some of the other ones out there. Mine weighs about 10.5 lbs on a bathroom scale so it's not super light but also not very heavy. I have kept this bass pristine and the only reason I am selling it is because I have 2 other L-2500s and I just don't need 3 anymore. My price is firm and if this does not move here on reverb in the next few weeks I will put it up on talkbass.

I am including a G&L hardshell case that has some wear but again the bass still has the plastic on the electronics cover and it's tough to find a blemish on the bass anywhere so to me the case not being in great condition isn't an issue. I also recently conditioned the fretboard with Lem-oil which is typically a good idea with rosewood fretboards to keep the wood healthy. This bass is about as mint as you can get for being 5 years old. I also still have all the original paperwork from when I bought it new and it has the string thru body design which I prefer for sustain and overall tone. This bass is killer and worth every penny I'm asking for it. 

So here's the deal. I will ship the bass insured via FedEx and pack it very well. I have taken several pics to try and justify it's condition as well as how incredible the finish is but the pics do it no justice. Considering that these sell new for about $1899 new I know I am asking a reasonable price for this mint condition bass. I'm also not in a rush to sell it so that is why I am not taking offers on this item. It's too good of a bass to be low balled on. Here are the specs from G&L's website for your reference.
