This is a newly made USACG custom built Tele. The body and matching neck were made years ago, but was a project that was never assembled by previous owners. The body and neck were made in the U.S.A. buy USACG. USACG now part of the MJT company.
The guitar was recently built sparing no expense on parts. It was built and professionally set up buy a luthier/guitar tech with over 30 years experience. So this is a technically a NEW USA MADE GUITAR.
The condition is near mint. It does have some light ware, swirl marks, very small surface scratches, a few very small dings, some not able to be captured by photo. Some of these might buff out. Please see the pic's. These ware marks were from kicking around from owner to owner as an incomplete project for a few years.
Here are the features. All parts are new.
Body: Honduran mahogany body with 1/4" thick flamed maple cap, thin purple trans nitro finish with matching headstock, routed for OFR (studs installed) with D-Tuna relief.
Neck: 1 piece maple neck, 25.5" scale neck, rosewood fretboard, 10-14" compound radius, and the profile is about a 0.850" C. It has mother of pearl fretboard dot markers, mother of pearl side dot markers. Thin Nitro clear finish.
Bridge: Floyd Rose Original chrome. With a chrome R2 nut.
Pickup: Seymour Duncan SH15 Alternative 8, black with logo. Coil split. New Schaller chrome metal pickup ring.
Electronics: 1 Audio taper 500k push/pull Volume that coil splits the pickup. 1 audio taper 500k CTS tone pot with a .047 Orange drop cap. 1/4 in jack. The control cavity and the cover has been copper shielded for noise reduction.
Tuners: New Chrome Graph Tech Ratio tuning machines.
Neck Plate: From Icon Plates. It was a perfect match for this guitar.
Wieght: Around 8.6 lbs.
Has Dunlop strap locks installed.
I would recommend installing a Tremolo-No if you decide to also install a D-Tuna. Since this guitar has the Floyd Rose back route.
This guitar was setup with D'Addario xl 9 gauge guitar strings. It is intonated. It is setup with low action. It feels a little stiff at the moment. Probably due to the new Floyd Rose springs and needing to be broken in and played for a while.
I will add a brand new Road Runner hard shell ABS case with this guitar. A guitar like this deserves a new good case.
That is it. A custom one of a kind, made in the USA super Tele with a Honduran Mahogany body and 1/4 inch flamed maple top. Nitro finish. Made with top of the line parts. What is not to like about this recipe? NO Feet pic's. Not stored in dirty laundry, or dirty sheets. In non smoking house. No cat pee in the case. Not claiming mint condition. Not claiming plays like butter. The neck is not perfectly straight because necks are not supposed to be perfectly straight.
Just an honest and no BS description.
