Ampeg Model 835 "Bassamp" Around 1960 Rare & Historic

Very rare Ampeg Model 835, last of the original 800 series of Bassamp amplifiers  The 835 model immediately preceded the Portaflex, and was originally designed for the Amp Peg pickup from which Ampeg got their name. Not a practical gigging amp, it's not loud, and weighs 2lbs for each of it's 35 watts. However, this one is probably one of the best examples of early Ampeg history that you'll ever have a chance to own. It's been more or less completely restored electronically (resistors, caps, F+T cans, tubes, off/standby/on switch, and a vintage large alnico magnet Eminence (I believe) 15"speaker). The outside is in surprisingly good condition, and it has a proper thick plywood back panel in lieu of the original masonite board. I believe one, if not both, trannys are original. It has a separate upper pre amp chassis, and bottom power amp chassis. I had it inspected, biased, and brought up to plug and play condition by Fuchs Audio. I had him bias it for clean operation, so it's quiet, but very low, if any, noise. While made for a bass, it sounds great for guitar. I'm listing this as a local pickup only, I'll drive a bit if necessary to meet halfway around the New Jersey/NY southeast border to hand it off. The swirly appearance of the grill cloth is a camera anomaly, it's actually a solid color. It's been modified from the original EL37 power tubes to 6550's. The schematic pic is off the internet, and probably differs a bit from this amp. After all, in the course of 63 years I've also acquired a bit of hardware that I wasn't born with. The "Crystal" input, for the Amp Peg, has been converted to a standard pickup input. I believe all 3 inputs are now identical.
