The Story...
The Gibson Original collection was the first project the new owners of Gibson took on to "turn the company back around" and what a magnificent move it was! These are seen by many as the best guitars that Gibson has produced in a long time and praised for how they brought clarity to a once jumbled and confusing lineup. Even though I'm a used guitar dealer - even I find it hard to NOT suggest the new Les Paul Standards over other time-tested and true "cult-classic" used models - they are just that good.

There is no denying that the Original Collection was a major part of Gibson history... today I have to offer to you a COMPLETE collection of Gibson Original Prototypes for the 50s/60s Les Paul Standards from the Original Collection. This set features one of every color + variation offer offered at launch in 2019. 

This lot includes 7 investment quality stamped-prototype guitars handpicked by me from the shortly-lived prototype offerings by Gibson. Each of them comes with a Gibson Hardshell case with all the paperwork, case candy and original shipping carton as originally sent out in. Some of these instruments show light wear and tear from being handled as well as pin-sized dings here or there, but I carefully chose the cleanest and nicest examples they had to offer.

International shipping is welcome - yes, the shown price is correct. Keep in mind you will have import duties and taxes due to your country as well.

I truly believe these will show you a great return - if I had the storage space right now, I'd keep them.

I would prefer to sell these as a complete set as they are more historic together than they are apart - but individually, they are $5500 each.
