About This Listing

Adrian Minarovic “Hogan" is his nickname by friends. He is well known for his research on Lloyd Loar mandolins and mandolin drawing plans you can buy through companies like Elderly.

  • To my knowledge there are only 4 or 5 in the US ( I know of two) as Adrian builds custom by hand and it takes well over a year to secure a build. They rarely become available as they are cherished and held. I am only selling to reduce my collection as I can't play all of them the amount they deserve. 

  • This mandolin has beautiful tone, clear, precise intonation equal to many of my high end mandolins. Honestly, anyone that owns his mandolins would concur that if Adrian were building in the US, they would rival much higher prices. This mandolin has just a few hours of playing time so rest assured it's literally brand new.

  • Wonderful volume, projection, crisp intonation. Good throaty Chop to clear Bell.

I will include a rectangular Superior case that has some slight wear. However, I keep the mandolin in this case because it fits like a glove.
