Beautiful Gibson Les Paul Premium Bass LPB-2/5 1993 Cherry Sunburst

This is a beautiful and rare 1993 Les Paul Premium Bass 5 string (LPB 2/5) with a gorgeous flame maple top!  I've personally never seen a nicer top on a Les Paul Premium Bass.

This bass was formerly owned and gigged with by Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith...and both were featured on the cover of Bass Player magazine back in 1995. Unfortunately, there is more than a magazine cover to prove that the bass was gigged hard.  There is a chunk in the finish and down to the bare wood about the size of the pencil eraser in the lower bout (pictured above). Other than that, there are some light scratches in the back of the bass. They don't photograph well, but they are there.

I'm asking $1,800 including shipping to CONUS. Price includes OHSC, plus the Bass Player mag and hang tag pictured above. International sales are cool so long as you agree to pay for shipping plus all international sales fees such as shipping, customs duties, import fees, VAT, etc. You must also agree to assume any risk related to the enforcement of the CITES treaty by your country. For international sales I ship by FedEx, and the buyer will pay FedEx directly for all duties, fees, and VAT.
