Like the original, it’s a character preamp and instrument DI with XLR and 1/4” connections, phantom power, boost, and phase reversal.Enhancements start with increased input gain, so it’s an ideal option to pair with a low-output microphone or get more tube saturation. Switchable impedance lets you tailor the response of the preamp to your microphone for additional tonal options. It also adds a switchable FET limiter to tame transients and prevent unwanted clipping, a high-pass filter to reduce low-frequency rumble and tighten bass, and multi-segment LED metering. With new capabilities and a stackable desktop enclosure, the Project Series version provides everything musicians have loved about the Tube MP for thirty years - and more.
