Up for sale is this very nice original 1983 Peavey Fury bass guitar.
This one shows remarkably little wear. The finish has only the lightest
of wear - a couple of dings here and there and some pickguard scratch from someone using a pick. There are no cracks, the neck is not bowed out, and the truss rod works and it has a micro tilt neck feature to adjust playability. Peavey introduced this model as basically an update of the old T-20 bass with a new bridge, and including their sought after and rare Super Ferrite bass pickup, which is worth a few bucks on its own. As was Peavey's habit they made a full 34" scale bass in the USA with all the features you could ever want in an instrument. It was solid enough that you could play pro gigs with it every night, and at a price point that your parents would not have to go too far out on a limb to pay for a decent instrument for students. There is nothing really corner cutter about this one at all. The neck is maple, the wood body is not heavy, and the electronics and hardware are top notch. And they typically do not survive this clean.
