Here we have the superb and seldom seen top line dreadnought model from Kay.
Extremely well made in Japan by Terada Gakki, made in comparatively low numbers through the golden era of guitar craft, the 1970's.
Terada made the best guitars of the day for many top names, they even made guitars for Martin themselves.....
Which brings me to the point that this guitar is a very good Martin replica, with styling borrowed from the D35 and D41 models, it is one of the best Japanese guitars available at around this sensible price.
The KDG 88 is renowned for having 90% of the tone of a good Martin, partly owing to the stunning three piece back which appears to be of Brazilian rosewood. Loud, crisp, punchy and resonant she won't disappoint!

∞ Action low, tone superb
∞ Easy to play, frets in good order
∞ No apparent repairs, no cracks or damage
∞ Some expected signs use, capo marks on neck overall very good for age
∞ Original rare yellow Kay hard case included in sale
