Univox Coily
This is a late 1960s or early 1970 model (a law suit guitar). Univox did not do much to date their guitars via the S/N. So, you have to look at the script on the head stock and the pick ups. This script is the early version. Later versions have more blocked style script and even change the direction of the script (instead of horizontal, they started doing vertical).
This guitar is amazing sunburst with flamed maple. It truly pops! Everything is original except the pot, caps, selector switch, wiring (I have the original pots and wiring if you would like...but they were worn out) and frets. Pickups are original and sound amazing! She has Orange Drop Caps in her.
She has low action, plays smooth and no dead spots. She is meant to be played (not just a show piece) and has been played (reason for replacing the frets...almost worn down to the wood when I got her).
