Rick's Guitar Emporium Presents! A 1950s? Silvertone Parlor With Scalloped X Bracing
This guitar was completely restored. The action is very comfortable (3/32"@ 12th fret) and makes an excellent finger style guitar, and sounds wonderful strummed.
The body is solid Old Growth Birch top, back and sides... also the neck. The top has scalloped X bracing; Lacquer Red Burst / Black finish; it looks great. Neck is Satin Black; feels great. Rosewood Pyramid bridge with compensated Bone saddle; Ivory w/ black dot plastic bridge pins; Brass frets; Rosewood fingerboard; not stained; white dot markers. Kluson style closed chrome button tuning machines stay in tune and look great. The neck joint is solid and has been reset. Bone Nut. Vintage style Tiger Stripe pick guard. This guitar is a joy to play, and fits so comfortably on the lap. Equipped with a new set of D'Addario 12 gauge strings, it is ready for your next performance.
This is a vintage restored instrument; it is in very good condition; fully functional and plays and sounds great.
