Heartfield DR Series DR-5 5-string Bass Aguilar Preamp MIJ Made In Japan Red/Black

This is a pre-owned/used instrument available as shown for local delivery, pickup at our storefront (curbside or in store) in Beltsville, Maryland, or shipment to those in the lower 48/USA only via either UPS or FedEx Home Delivery/Ground [a signature will be required for delivery!].

• Approximate weight: 9.03 lbs.
• Bass has acquired a good bit of wear — chips, dents, dings, scratches, scuffs — quite a few surface marks around body, back of neck, and headstock.
• The first few frets do show a little wear under most of the strings, but nothing tone-affecting.
• This bass's previous owner had an Aguilar preamp installed — when they or their tech did so, they disconnected the XLR output (snipped its wires) so now just the 1/4" jack works.
• But - the bass's electronics do function as they should otherwise.
• Note that the truss rod is about as tight as it gets and its nut is all but stripped, so adjustment of the neck is going to be difficult down the road.
• When we received it, this bass had had its bridge pieces leveled - so we re-radius'd them when we gave it a setup and the bass is playing great!

• A generic gig bag will be included.  No other extras are available for this item.
